i wonder who still reads my blog. as you can see i hardly use it anymore, but i'll come back every now and then to update. anyways, school is over now. done. finished. yes!!! unfortunately, i don't think i'll be returning to sac state for the spring semester. i haven't even registered yet for classes. you see, as this past semester was coming to a close, i began to think about why i transferred to sac state in the first place and began to regret my decision. what i am going to do is work this coming semester and think about what i really want to do and set my heart on it. i don't want to double think and have doubt about my future. even though the type of work i am doing now at the auto shop isn't the type of work i would like to do as a career, it helps me put things into perspective a bit. i know for sure that i enjoy working with people, and this past semester at sac state made me realize that perhaps a standard university is not for me. i'll admit i'm still lost and being 23, not knowing what to do is a bit scary but i know that i can trust God and have hope that he'll show me the right direction to go. it's about the only thing i can do - pray, hope, and see = HAVE FAITH! without one of these four, i think my life would be in a twirlwind of sorts. i guess this is my way of saying i need some encouragement and a lot of faith to carry on.

Happy belated birthday, Eric! It was good to see you at the BASIC bbq and hopefully we'll have plenty of time to hang out this weekend, err...this Saturday (or should I say later today ;P) hehe.

This Friday (6/23) was the BASIC bbq. We had a pretty good turn out of about forty people or so. A lot of people came back from college, mainly from the fresheman class though. It was good to see some of the so cal people whom I haven't been able to see and tried to see when I was down south a couple of weeks ago for vacation. Now I'm glad to know that most of the people who came back will be staying for the summer.

i am now back from my family vacation, but i do not have any pictures to post. for those who know me, i hated rollercoasters when i was young and now - well....i went on every ride - ok - almost every ride. didn't get a chance to go on splash mountain, but did ride space mountain, mattahorn, and buzz lightyear astro blaster. that's probably the most fun ride there because it's the most interactive. i'm too embarassed to show my score though. but for those of you interested, i can send you a pic. lol.

now that i'm back, i have a lot of fun to look foward to in a week or so. i just got my second jury duty call, and hopefully i won't have to spend a whole day in the courthouse or even spend time on the bench.

well, that's not for a while, so for now i will be going back to work and also need to start thinking about some creative games for VBS. i have no idea yet of what to play or what kind of games fit for the different countries. this year's theme is world travel so each day of the program, the kids will be visiting a different country and my job is to have a game that is popular in that country and also apply it to the day's lesson. i'll need some creativity for sure and it's a good thing that I have a great crew to support me.
